Job #: 2702, GMX-295 Line
The GMX-295 Line is a machine that was completed in June of 2006. The
purpose of the machine is to Stamp, Drill, and Tap automotive keys.
The set-up is a progressive 5 stage cycle using manual labor,
automated pneumatic punches, and self-feeding drill and tapping units.
In the first station the key blank is manually loaded into the
fixture, it is then sent to station 2 where it is sheared to size.
Next it is sent to station 3 for the automated drilling and then onto
station 4 for the automated tapping. At station 5 an operator manually
screws the remote key fob onto the key.
