Job #: 2760, Robotic Copper Bending
Cell
The Robotic Copper bending cell is a machine that was completed in
November of 2006. The purpose of the machine is to bend copper tube
into various shapes to be used in Industrial Refrigerators. The cell
accomplishes this through the use of pneumatic cylinders, tube
straigheners, a tube decoiling machine, and a 6-axis robot with
equipped with EOA (End-of-Arm) tooling fixtures. There are 4 more
moving axis besides the robot for a total of a 10 axis machine.
